In CZE, the adsorption of the proteins on the capillary wall is a common problem. This paper describes the simple method of utilizing zwitterionic buffer additives to improve the separation of proteins in untreated fused silica capillaries at neutral pH. Three kinds of zwitterion are evaluated in the separation of acidic, neutral, and basic proteins, including their effect on protein efficiency, mobility, separation, and resolution; the difference between the effects of the different additives are also highlighted. The method has proved to be a possible means of reducing protein adsorption, especially for basic proteins. 相似文献

本文首次报道了利用电泳技术在铁和不锈钢基底上制备MgB2超导带材.电阻测量表明,沉积在铁和不锈钢基底上MgB2带材的超导零电阻转变温度分别为37.5K和31K,超导转变宽度分别为0.3K和1K.磁测量表明,(5K,OT)时不锈钢基底上带材的临界电流密度为6×105(A/cm2).X射线衍射谱和扫描电子显微镜图象表明样品结晶良好,晶粒生长致密.本工艺制备MgB2带材时不受系统真空度的限制,生长迅速,成本低廉,并且可以根据不同的需要任意选择基底的形状和大小. 相似文献

The theoretical signal-pressure curves are calculated from approximate analytical solutions of the coupledequations describing the third order parametric wave mixing in a gas-filled capillary of femto-second laser pulses. This study demonstrates the separation of active ingredients in acne formulations (salicylic acid, cloramphenicol and resorcinol in presence of azulene) by capillary zone electrophoresis. Factors affecting their separations were the buffer pH and concentration, applied voltage, sample preparation, and presence of additives. Optimun results were obtained with a 50 mM sodium tetraborate-50 mM sodium phosphate, pH 9.0. The carrier electrolyte gave baseline separation with good resolution, short migration times (<6 min), great reproducibility and accuracy. Calibration plots were linear over at least three orders of magnitude of analyte concentrations, the lower limits of detection being within the range 0.39-1.25 μg ml−1. The procedure was fast and reliable and commercial pharmaceuticals could be analysed without prior sample clean-up procedure. 相似文献

In the present paper we study the qualitative behavior ast→∞ of the solution of the Cauchy problem for a system of equations describing a dynamics of a two-component viscous fluid.
The model under consideration takes into account the mutual diffusion of the fluid components as well as their capillary interaction.
We describe the ω-limit set of trajectories of the dynamical system generated by the problem. It is proved that the stationary
solution of the problem, is a homogeneous stationary distribution of one of the components, is asymptotically stable. Any
other stationary solution is not asymptotically stable and is even unstable if there are no close stationary solutions corresponding
to a smaller energy level.

Cationic polyelectrolytes were synthesized and used as semipermanent coating materials for capillaries in electrophoresis. The polyelectrolytes used were a homopolymer of poly(methacryl oxyethyl trimethylammonium chloride) (PMOTAC) and its poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG)‐grafted analogue. Two PMOTAC polyelectrolytes, with molar masses of 85,000 and 300,000 g/mol, and PEG‐grafted PMOTAC with a molar mass of 280,000 g/mol were synthesized and then characterized by size exclusion chromatography (SEC) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. Attachment of the polyelectrolytes to the wall of the fused silica capillary for electrophoresis caused the electroosmotic flow (EOF) to reverse. The polyelectrolyte coatings were tested over the pH range 2–11 at different buffer ionic strengths, and the most stable and strongest anodic EOFs were obtained at acidic pH values with low ionic strength buffers. Between runs the capillary is merely rinsed for 2 or 3 min with the background electrolyte solution. With the PMOTAC coatings at pH values ≤5, the RSDs of the EOFs were less than 2.9% after 60 injections. The effects of the molar mass of the polycation and of PEGylation of PMOTAC on the interactions between the polycations and basic proteins were studied at acidic pH values. The differences in the effective electrophoretic mobilities, resolution values, and plate numbers of the proteins with the different coatings were due to the EOF, as demonstrated through calculations of reduced mobilities, relative resolution values, and relative plate numbers. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
